Wow, this was a very good experience at Bob's this time. Of course, I have been going to Big Boy throughout my life, childhood through adulthood. Today's visit was especially good. I don't eat red meat anymore. However, I really wanted an old school Big Boy burger, so I asked if they could make one with turkey rather than beef. They did! They even split the turkey patty in two to emulate the thin beef burgers on a Big Boy. They went above and beyond for me. Kudos! Compliments to the chef and to the waitress. Was acting as tour guide for a Twin Peaks fan friend, and we went here because of the Lynch connection. However, this friend also came to visit to see Sir Paul McCartney at Dodger Stadium, so finding out there was a famous booth where the Beatles had lunch at Bob's one day made her day. Too bad they didn't keep as meticulous of information on the booth David Lynch would sit in to have coffee and a milkshake, and dream up amazing stories. Nobody working there still remembered.

Like stepping back in time. The original decor and space really takes you back and sets a great mood. From the display cases to the neon, all are great. But the greatest is the food which is still consistent and as delicious as I remember as a kid. The chili spaghetti is so unique and original and a standout for taste. The Pappy Parker fried chicken is the crispiest and some of the tastiest fried chicken of all time, and the classic Bob's combo really is the 1950s in a bite. Top it off with a hot fudge cake with fudge that tastes like no other and this is truly a gut busting, smile inducing meal.

My family grew up in Burbank. Now only my kids are left in the area. Every time my family gets together in So Cal, Bob's is a must stop! Last time was in June and we had 11 of us. Great food, great service and love the atmosphere. Lots of childhood memories

Bob's Big Boy is a 24 hour diner that you can't not just love. It is in fact the original Bob's and has a very intact sense of the oldies to it. Food is good, diner food, maybe a little less "diner" then normal but it's solid. Burgers are very yummy and I even did the spaghetti chili which I think probably rivals chili John's. Only downside is it gets SUPER busy late and you can sometimes not even get service for a seat, so keep that in mind!

The food was great, the service was fast. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere, fries, shakes and even the onion rings. The only reason it was not a 5, is because the same recipe for burgers has remained the same, I like the nostalgia, but I think it's time to update the meat used they are doing wonderful things with ground beef and ground Chuck these days, just a remake of the burger with new meat would be flawless
